Abstract: This talk will give an overview of current research activities on wireless healthcare monitoring applications.
Ongoing projects such as human activity recognition (HAR) and neuro-feedback therapy for ADHD kids will be discussed and demonstrated. Simulation and testbed analysis of the discussed projects will be presented. Open research challenges and possible collaboration topics will be investigated.

Abstract: This talk will provide an overview of current research activities on wireless body area network technologies for healthcare monitoring applications.
This seminar exploits four ongoing projects at eSense research group, namely human activity recognition (HAR), ambient monitoring for ADL and neuro-feedback therapy for ADHD children and 5G communication platforms for healthcare traffic. Each project will be discussed and data collection protocols for the test-beds as well as evaluation techniques and measurements will be addressed. Case studies for Parkinson disease monitoring, ADHD kids’ treatments and rehabilitation applications will conclude each project within seminar.
