This book contains a part of the report of a fundamental and multidisciplinary research that was carried out for five years from 2012 to 2016 with the help of about eighty researchers. Although this book, basically, includes the results which were presented in the fifth chapter of the aforementioned research entitled “description of the foundations and growth model based on the perspective of Islam”, the scientific editing of the book, which took place over two years, from 2016 to 2018, and many changes such as reducing and adding some content and the changes in some arguments and citations have made the content of the book somewhat different.

Due to the critical encounter with the elements of modern civilization, this book may be inspiring and useful not only for researchers of educational sciences and psychology, but also for researchers of humanities, policy makers and planners of various cultural fields. the Validity of scientific findings depends, undoubtedly, on valid reasons and documentation. The reasons and documents presented in this book include propositions and concepts which are difficult to understand for those who are unfamiliar with the works of Muslim sages and thinkers. Therefore, by citing examples and expressing conceptual models and summarizing and using various methods of reasoning, the writer has tried to increase the comprehensibility of the material. However, those who are interested may choose, according to their scientific experience, particular chapters of the book to read. It is hoped that the contents of this book will be a guide for researchers and those interested in experimental and developmental research.
