Geospatial Education:
- Microwave Remote Sensing (Graduate, since 2016): Delivered 8 semesters of advanced courses on SAR data analysis, focusing on applications in environmental monitoring and hazard assessment, engaging over 150 students.
- Time Series Analysis for Geospatial Data (Graduate, since 2016): Taught 8 semesters of courses on temporal analysis of satellite imagery, integrating tools like Google Earth Engine, with over 120 students trained.
- Fundamentals of Remote Sensing (Undergraduate/Graduate, since 2016): Conducted 8 semesters of foundational courses, introducing over 200 students to remote sensing principles and applications.
- Thermal Remote Sensing (Graduate, 2018–2020): Led 4 semesters of specialized courses on thermal infrared data analysis for land surface temperature estimation, training 60 students.
- Geospatial Technology (Graduate, since 2024): Developed and taught 2 semesters of cutting-edge courses on GIS and remote sensing integration, engaging 40 students.
- Digital Image Processing (Graduate, since 2024): Delivered 2 semesters of courses on advanced image processing techniques, including deep learning applications, for 35 students.
Research Mentorship and Leadership:
- Research Project Leadership: Spearheaded multiple high-impact research projects in GeoAI, environmental modeling, and vegetation mapping, resulting in 15+ peer-reviewed publications with student co-authors.
- Doctoral and Master’s Supervision: Currently mentoring 3 PhD and 5 Master’s students in advanced remote sensing and GeoAI applications. Previously supervised 10 PhD and 20 Master’s students (2016–2024), with 25+ resulting publications.
- Innovative Teaching Methods: Integrated modern tools such as Google Earth Engine and Python-based data analysis into coursework, enhancing student engagement and practical skills.
