Before joining SBU, Dr. shameli worked as a Postdoctoral fellow at Ericsson, Canada. He also was Postdoctoral fellow at ETS and McGill universities in collaboration with Ericsson for three years. He received his Ph.D in computer engineering from University of Montreal (Polytechnique de Montreal), Canada and his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Amirkabir University of Technology. Dr. Shameli has received various awards and honors for his industrial and academic researches. Moreover, he holds two patents. He also has collaborated with numerous journals, conferences, workshops, and seminars as a member of the editorial board, committee members, and reviewers.
