My name is Pegah Nejat. I am an Assistant Professor of Social Psychology at Shahid Beheshti University (SBU), and director of the SBU Social Psychology Lab. I am also one of the main organizers of the Master of Social Psychology program at the Psychology Department of SBU, and have served as a member and more recently head of the Social-Cultural Psychology committee at our department. My other roles include representative of the SBU International Scientific Cooperation Directorate at Faculty of Psychology and Education, and mentor of foreign students at my faculty. I also served as supervisor of the SBU Student Association of Psychology during the last year. As of January 2024, I am honored to be serving as Editorial Fellow at Personality and Social Psychology Review.
Besides academics, I am interested in nature, colors and patterns, people and cultures, physical activity (of almost any kind), learning languages, and world history.
