Ali Katanforoush

About me

My name is Ali Katanforoush. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Shahid Beheshti University. I was awarded my Ph.D. in Bioinformatics by the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics  (IBB), University of Tehran. Previously, I got my Master's in Applied Mathematics from Sharif University of Technology. I spent five years (2001-5) working as the manager of Scientific Computing Center of Institute for Studies in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics, IPM (now Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences). From 2006 to 2009, I was a fellow of the Bioinformatics Research Group at IPM.
