Biography/ Background

Dr. Javad Aminian received his Ph.D. in Combustion Science, from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2012. He joined the School of Mechanical and Energy Engineering at the Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) in 2013.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Iran University of Science and Technology, 2012. Thesis: CFD simulation of flameless combustion.
  • M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Iran University of Science and Technology, 2007. Final project: Neural network modeling of crude oil fouling in an  industrial shell and tube heat exchanger.
  • B.Sc. In Chemical Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Mashhad, 2004. Final Project: Calculation of pressure drop in two-phase oil and gas transport lines using TPSYS (Two-Phase flow SYStems: an in-hous VB code).

  2. Niroo Research Institute (NRI 2017): Experimental investigation of syngas combustion in atmospheric pressure lab scale premixed burner.
