Precedence of education over science and technology
Dr. Alamolhoda said: “In the political revolution of Imam Khomeini, the issues, the necessary equipment and requirements were clear, but after the revolution, the position in the cultural revolution was not very clear and so far it has been accompanied by challenges.”
Stating that very good cultural measures have been taken so far, she emphasized the centrality of industrial and economic development: “The system and education serve the industrial and economic development, and other institutions are centered around them.”
The faculty member of the Faculty of Education of Shahid Beheshti University further stated: “In the country, we have been damaged by two groups of people; those who tend to favor themselves in religious discussions and do not want to interact, and those who think that the homeland, the living culture and religion are old and cannot be studied. Stating that the intention of the Islamic Republic is to educate people, She said: “We need to focus on central education according to religious principles, and policies should be planned according to the religious plan.”
She considered education prior to science and technology and added: “It is not possible for a country to achieve science and technology without education; it is education that creates knowledge.”
