Professor of Shahid Beheshti University: The 13th government follows the path of fair progress
The faculty member of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of Shahid Beheshti University stated: “The season for development has come. The 13th government represents the country’s capacities and is determined to make fundamental changes in the variables of progress.”
Delivering the greetings of Ayatollah Dr. Seyed Ebrahim Raeisi, the president, in the third meeting of the Development Season Conference specialized meetings on the discourse of the 13th government, justice and progress, which was held at Shiraz University on Wednesday, Jamileh Alamolhoda, the wife of the president said to the people of Fars province: “Revolutionaries are determined that there should be a development in the progress path of the country, and the country’s capacities have reached a point where this development should take place.”
She continued: “The progress of the Islamic revolution is defined based on the Islamic values according to what is mentioned in the speeches and books of the late Imam Khomeini, and in the past 40 years, we have made progress, but there have been problems, so we decided to take the second step of the revolution through the pathology of the past 40 years.”
The faculty member of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of Shahid Beheshti University stated: “Despite the good events that have taken place and the insights that have been found, the Islamic Revolution still needs more insights and it seems that because the progress was not enough to satisfy the revolutionaries and those who are willing to sacrifice themselves for the system, the supreme leader of the revolution raised the issue of the second step of the revolution.”
Alamolhoda stated: “Therefore, the 13th government represents the country’s capacities and this development must be realized. If there is an emphasis on justice, we should be more careful in defining justice in accordance with this season of development.”
She added: “It seems that in accordance with Islamic teachings and the view of the late Imam Khomeini and the supreme leader of the revolution and other great leaders of the revolution, the concepts of justice and progress are so intertwined that fundamental changes must be made.”
The president’s wife said: “Of course, we are the inheritors of some simplifications and some simple cost-benefit analyses, and even the definitions we have of Jihad sometimes seem simple, and perhaps our historical perspective and historical insights are a little weak.”
She added: “It seems that we face a routine in the discussion of justice and our analyzes are everyday analyzes, while if we consider our very important historical position and consider the level of analysis at the global level, we might pay more attention to the complexities.”
Alamolhoda continued: “If our unit of analysis is at the global level, and if our everyday life and ignorance do not delay the appearance of the Mahdi, it might be better to pay attention to the main variables in this particular situation.”
The faculty member of Shahid Beheshti University said: “The specialized meeting of the Development Season Conference on the discourse of the 13th government, justice and progress can actually be seen as the beginning of a movement to answer the question that, based on the concept of justice, who and what should be given what weight under what conditions.”
She added: “The difficulty of the answer is that everyone tries to define justice based on their own points of view, experiences, interests and analyzes.”
The faculty member of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of Shahid Beheshti University added: “It seems that the education system, including the higher education system, schools and family, especially teachers with a very great responsibility find a special place here, because justice is not supposed to be decided somewhere in a factory form and it should be decided by the people themselves, but people are classified and valid classification in Islamic thinking is based on knowledge.” Alamolhoda added: “The teacher is responsible for the education of the rest of the people, and this issue is also important economically, because we cannot talk about justice without economic discussions, and it seems that culturally the most vulnerable groups are the priority, and accordingly the most vulnerable groups are Children, teenagers and youths, respectively.”
She stated: “We should pay special attention to these groups with a forward-looking view in the distribution of blessings, and the government is forced or in this season of development is required to take steps in the direction of explanation and implementation of justice with the help of universities.”
The necessity of participation of knowledge-based companies in charity services
The faculty member of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of Shahid Beheshti University considered the knowledge-based economy to have a serious flaw and said: “This flaw is that the knowledge-based economy has not yet been defined by ethics, and that’s why, for example, we rarely see knowledge-based companies in charity services. The wife of the president said: “In other words, it does not seem that a healthy Islamic economy, which is based on ethics, has yet entered into the views of knowledge-based economics, and knowledge-based economics is defined based on the very views of liberal economics, and what determines the direction is profit, not charity.
She continued: “If better services are even provided, it is for gaining more profits. Therefore, it seems that if the knowledge-based economy is ethics-oriented and based on higher quality services and is designed based on charitable services, it will provide more possibilities.”
