The specialized meeting “explaining Allameh Tabatabaei’s Etebariat theory and its continuity in Islamic humanities” was initiated by the Supreme Council of Islamic Humanities in cooperation with Sadra Islamic Humanities Research Center and the University of Holy Qur’an Sciences and Education. Ten articles were presented in this meeting, which was held with the presence of a group of professors and researchers of Islamic humanities.

The first speaker of the evening session was Dr. Jamileh Sadat Alamolhoda, who said: “We put this theory together with some of the principles of Sadra’s philosophy, including substance theory.”

She added: “The issue of Etebariat formation is very important, and Allameh himself also states that we must go back to the era that we call infancy. We should pay attention to the empirical evidence because one of the privileges of humanities is to pay attention to the empirical evidence and objectivities.”

The faculty member of Shahid Beheshti University stated: “In the field of education, some scholars of the field develop their theories with their objective experiences. Allameh’s methodology creates the opportunity to use observations and apply them in detail. In the end, Alamolhoda reminded: “To develop the Etebariat theory in social sciences, we can take help from contemporary philosophies, and I also believe that we should pay attention to the discussion of empirical evidence in this field.”
