The Islamic revolution presented a new face of women to the world
Stating that Iranian women are in better conditions than other women in the world, Dr. Jamileh Alamolhoda, faculty member of Shahid Beheshti University, considered this to be indebted to the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the struggles of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the commitment of the Islamic system to the school of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT).
Pointing out that Imam Khomeini presented a new face of women to the world with the help of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) and the establishment of an Islamic government, Dr. Alamolhoda said: “Thanks to the victory of the revolution and the heroic defense of Iranians in the 8-year war, new capacities of the women were discovered and the status of the family and the role of the women in the family and society were redefined.”
Alamolhoda added: “The holy defense showed that educational institutions are not able to educate children who go to martyrdom fields with their own feet, and the conditions of war make revolutionary women, as mothers and wives, prepare their children and husbands for the battle that leads to martyrdom.” According to her, after the physical war with Iran, the global arrogance started another war with Iranian women, in which it targets the family.
The faculty member of Shahid Beheshti University pointed out: “The type of presence of Iranian women in the streets today shows that this war is much more complicated than the first war and its characteristic is that the enemy is fighting us at home and no part of the country is far from the eyes of the enemy.”
