The closing ceremony of the first innovative and technological event “Book and Child”
Dr. Jamileh Sadat Alamolhoda, dean of Shahid Beheshti University’s Institute for Science and Technology Studies and a member of the “Book and Child” event policy council, began her speech on the closing day of the event by emphasizing the obvious need to pay attention to this area.
Thanking Dr. Sattari, vice-president of science and technology and Dr. Nasiri, president of Shahid Beheshti University, she introduced this event as the first experience in this field, which proves that distancing from abstract concepts in humanities is possible and of course necessary.
Dr. Alamolhoda added: “These kinds of activities make the role of humanities more tangible in people’s lives.”
Appreciating the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Shahid Beheshti University and reminding that Shahid Beheshti University is a leading university in the field of humanities, she expressed hope that this event could be a model for more operational activities in the field of humanities.
