This book is written in nine chapters, including the basics of existentialism, the basics of anthropology, the basics of epistemology, the basics of value studies, the necessity and nature of education, the philosophical challenges of education, the approach to education, the goals of education, and the principles of education.
The Islamic theory is like a bridge that connects theological and philosophical topics with the practice of education, and provides an appropriate model for the goals and processes of the educational system with the help of political theory, legal theory and economic theory of Islam.
The content of this book is the result of two researches entitled “Basics of Islamic Education and Curriculum Planning Based on Sadra’s Philosophy” and “Philosophy of Formal Education from the Perspective of Islam” along with some supplementary discussions.
