The role of the family in building capacity for Islamic awakening
In the conditions we live today, different educational systems and media, due to their inherent characteristics, not only do not help in building capacity for Islamic awakening, raising awareness and fighting against the unfortunate conditions of life, but they apparently participate in secret processes of making people stupid. Cinema, press, and local and international TVs create a wide and complex network, the product of which is the increase of lack of information or the development of ignorance. Educational institutions involve students in specialized information and job-related issues and fail to educate intellectuals. Religious institutions are strictly involved in worship traditions and not so important religious affairs. Economic institutions that benefit from materialism and the development of fleeting worldly needs more effectively cover the policies of making people stupid. To better understand the hidden policies that are established for the development of ignorance and stupidity today, it is necessary to pay more attention to the importance of consumer brands, the importance of Olympic sports, the importance of political relations of princes and even the wedding of the queen’s granddaughter and such things. In such a situation, the family is the only institution that can fertilize the seeds of all kinds of political awakenings, make the youth aware of the oppressive conditions and global atheism, and encourage them to achieve a better worldly situation, especially to get close to the great God and His prophets and saints. Of course, in order to cultivate pious and committed revolutionary forces, the family needs to raise awareness against the fooling processes of other institutions and erase their traces from the minds and hearts of its youth. This role of the family is actually considered a part of its educational function, which is subject to various judgments. Understanding the complexities of today’s life by parents is a condition for proper upbringing of children. Therefore, empowering families and teaching the necessary sciences and skills to gain a valid point of view in various religious, political, economic, and cultural fields is the main solution for the successful upbringing of a revolutionary generation and capacity building for Islamic awakening.
